Schools to Remain Open Despite COVID-19 Second Wave

The Education Minister of Punjab, Murad Raas has announced via social media that all schools in Punjab will remain open despite CoVID-19 Second Wave. Via Twitter, he clearly stated that there is no plan to close the schools right now as the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases but nothing is alarming. Muran Raas said that they are monitoring and analyzing the situation on Daily bases. Random testing was also conducted. Education Minister also urged students to follow SOPs strictly. Keeping a very close watch on COVID 19 cases in Schools of Punjab. Random testing is being done continuously. There is a slight increase in numbers but nothing alarming. Situation being analysed on daily basis. There is NO plan to close Schools as of right now. Please follow SOPs
